Community & Cadets

NAIDOC & Open Days

NAIDOC & Open Days The FNA Programme will include attendance at NAIDOC days in order to make the facility and aircraft available for community and parents to examine programming and operations at the flight school. Programming with our partners will also be run in conjunction with these days. A further Community Open Day will be planned for six months after NAIDOC. Indigenous Services, Agencies and Community Group Involvement Letters of Support will be sought from all Community groups regarding aviation programming. Other community organisations such as the Aboriginal Medical Service have indicated they would seek CASA certification to undertake Class 1 Medicals and pre medical selection criteria screening for diabetes, colour blind and general fitness testing and medical testing that would strike out applicants before further costly testing. This will enable the growth of those valuable organisations in partnership with FNA.
